When you call one of us, we’ll arrange a time to come tour your home. Sometimes we’ll even bring one of our home staging experts with us. We’ll walk through your home, looking at things such as the home’s condition and architectural details. We’ll ask you a lot of questions about the home—after all, you know it better than anyone! Your REALTOR® will give you preliminary thoughts about the home’s market value and next steps. But after the meeting, you have no obligation to us until you call us back and let us know you want to list with Welcome Home Group.
Once you sign on with your Welcome Home Group agent, we’ll do more thorough research on the price you should list your home for. We’ll look at the value of neighboring properties, run our analysis tools, and more. Measuring your home is also an important part of the process; an imprecise measurement can cost you thousands of dollars. We want to help you get the price of the home right—because an incorrectly priced home will languish on the market and waste a lot of your time and resources! At this stage, we’ll also help you handle all the paperwork that goes into listing your home.
You’ll want your home to look as good as possible before it goes on the market, so it can make a powerful first impression. Your REALTOR® or one of our home stagers can give you expert advice on how to make your space look as attractive as possible. You may have a list of “homework” tasks that will help you increase your home’s buyer appeal.
Once your home looks its best, then we’ll take quality photographs to catch a potential buyer’s eye. Then we’ll present your home on the online venues where buyers are most likely to see it, so it can get the attention it deserves.
When a buyer presents an offer for your home, your agent will walk you through the process step-by-step. We’ll help you determine whether the offer or request for repairs are reasonable, or whether you should pass on them. We’ll handle negotiations and will answer your questions about appraisals, inspections and more. You’ll never be on your own—we’ll be on call for you all the way up through the final closing.
